WELCOME MESSAGE ADD-ON
This code is to add the message show on the left to any Allwebco web template. Please keep in mind that we only provide minimal support for adding this to your template. Please read these instructions carefully before you contact us.

STEP #1:
Put the "pop-welcome.js" in this zip file into your main website folder with your HTML pages. Put the contents of the "message" folder into a folder named "message" in your main website folder. You may need to create this folder, or you may be able to simply drag the "message" folder from this zip file into your main website folder.

STEP #2:
Put the following code in the head of the page that you want the message to be on. You can view the source of this page to see where this can go. Put it just before the </head>. If you are adding this to a .js file you may need to add the code below to every HTML page in your template.

STEP #3: Select code for HTML page or .js file
Paste the following code into the main area of one of your HTML pages or .js files where you would like the message script to appear. Be sure you copy all the code from one of the 2 boxes below. You can use one of the 2 buttons below to be sure you select all the code for your choice.

STEP #4: EDIT THE WELCOME MESSAGE: | Click for more details
The default WinMedia message is called "welcome.mp3" and the Quicktime file is called "welcome.mov". These can be found in the "message" folder. You can replace these with your own files to update the message pages. Edit the "welcome-quicktime.htm" and "welcome-winmedia.htm" HTML pages in the "message" folder to edit the message popup text. To change the message file type see "options" below. Click above to view the message setup and support page.

MESSAGE OPTIONS:

You can change the message popup sizes by editing the pop-welcome.js.

FILES TO EDIT: | Click for more details
In the "message" folder you can edit any of the files. You can replace or edit the message popup graphics by editing the images in the "message" folder.

VIDEO AUDIO WINDOW SIZES: | Click for .js file help
To resize the message video/audio area edit the "player-quicktime.js" and "player-winmedia.js" files in the "message" folder.

COLORS AND FONTS: | Click for CSS file help
You can change the fonts, colors or close buttons by editing the "welcome.css".

FILE TYPES: | Click for .js file help
To change the file to use for the welcome message popups edit the "player-quicktime.js" and "player-winmedia.js" in the "message folder". For Windows Media it's best to use a .wma file for video or mp3 for audio. For the Quicktime player it's best to use a .mov file for video and a .mp3 for audio.
