Details: This Flash animated application, included with some templates, displays linked .jpg images that are located in the "flash" or "picts" folder.

Where is the code:
The code that allows the flash image changer to be displayed can be found in the "sidebar.js" or the "imagechanger.js". You can change the border color or turn off the Flash by editing the variables near the top of the sidebar.js using Notepad or any plain text editor. The "imagechanger.js" usually only includes the animation sizes and background color.

My images are not working:
If you have replaced these 8 (or more) .jpg images and they are not showing up on the page here are some possible reasons.
  1. Do not save these .jpg images as "progressive". Be sure to save them as "standard" .jpg images. Try re-saving these images using a "save as" and be sure to select "standard".
  2. You did not flatten the image layers before saving the .jpg file.
  3. You have edited the wrong images or the template is not unzipped properly.
  4. If this problem is after uploading click here.
  5. Make sure "Hotlink Protection" is turned off in your hosting account.
Background color does not change:
If you edit the color in the .js file the background may not change. This will be because the Flash is setup as transparent and the background will be the color of your webpage. Or the color may be defined in your template CSS file.

Can I resize the changer?
If you want to have other size images in the changer you must edit the .fla file in the "flash" folder using Flash software. See: advanced Flash editing.

How can I add more images to the changer?
If you want to have more .jpg images display in the changer you must edit the .fla file in the "flash" folder using Flash software. See: advanced Flash editing.

Optionally, you can replace your changer with a jQuery slideshow.

How can I change the speed?
If you want to change how fast the images change in the changer you must edit the .fla file in the "flash" folder using Flash software. See: advanced Flash editing.
