Flash AdShow Details and Fixes

The Flash AdShow is a slidshow with a next button and usually 4 large images with phrases for each image. The AdShow is included on some Allwebco templates. This AdShow displays .jpg images that can usually be found in the template "picts" folder. Here are some details:

Where is the code:
The code that allows the flash image AdShow to be displayed can be found in the "homeflash.js". You can turn off the Flash by editing the variables near the top of the "homeflash.js" using Notepad or any plain text editor. The "homeflash.js" also includes the animation sizes and background color. The Flash .fla source file can be found in the template "flash" folder.

My images are not working:
If you have replaced these 8 (or more) .jpg images and they are not showing up on the page here are some possible reasons.
  1. Do not save these .jpg images as "progressive". Be sure to save them as "standard" .jpg images. Try re-saving these images using a "save as" and be sure to select "standard".
  2. You did not flatten the image layers before saviing the .jpg file.
  3. You have edited the wrong images or the template is not unzipped properly.
  4. If this problem is after uploading click here.
Background color does not change:
If you edit the color in the .js file the background may not change. This may be because the Flash is setup as transparent and the background will be the color of your webpage, or the color may be defined in your template CSS file.

Can I resize the AdShow?
